About the Role:

Our team includes program managers, engineers, product managers, analysts, and data scientists.

You will develop a deeper understanding of bad actors and improve our response to shifting suspicious activity by building new heuristics and models that can identify risky behavior. You'll also analyze the business logic underpinning our existing experiences and test changes to optimize and strengthen our Anti-Money Laundering program. The work you do will directly affect customer experiences in the moment and guide our strategy for the future. • Partner with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Engineers to develop product and program strategy
  • Advocate for tradeoffs between regulatory risk, customer friction, and stopping potential unwanted activity

  • 2+ years experience in an analytics role
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, economics, or another quantitative field (or equivalent additional experience)
  • Proficiency using SQL to answer complex questions (Python, R, statistical analysis, and modeling a bonus)
  • Experience distilling a business problem from team discussions, developing hypotheses, building an analytical framework, carrying out an analysis, and writing a clear recommendation
  • Enthusiasm for finding creative solutions in constrained environments
  • Comfort with a high degree of ownership
