Creative Lead, Digital Acquisition - Seattle or US Remote

About the Role:

You will report to the Creative Director and lead our Digital Acquisition focus area within the Creative team. You will lead the development of static, motion and video solutions for paid social, app campaigns and other performance-driven digital acquisition channels that help the Marketing and Creative teams achieve outstanding results. You are a hands on leader with experience driving creative efforts in an agency or in-house setting. You are a recognized expert known for your collaboration and relish building and improving upon process. You understand marketing channels, best practices, formats and bring expertise in enabling marketing creative across these channels.

You Will:

  • Lead a team of creative designers and copywriters focused on digital acquisition channels (FB/IG, UAC, TikTok) and build the team as we scale
  • Partner with other Creative Leads to develop strategies and ensure that brand look and feel, brand tone of voice, and integrated campaigns are brought to life across all channels
  • Ensure all creative is insight-driven, on brand, drive testing and optimization, and easily localized
  • Balance guiding your team's creative output with your ability to jump in and own, design and/or write the work yourself
  • Establish and evolve our creative standards for the entire Marketing team
  • Partner with marketers and project management to ensure input and briefs into marketing are clear and actionable
  • Present your work to internal stakeholders, and have sound reasoning or data to backup your points of view
  • Work with external partners, vendors and agencies when needed, providing constructive feedback
  • Research and keep a pulse on trends, issues, and topics that matter most to Remitly's key audiences around the world
  • Set clear expectations and create opportunities for team members; synthesize and deliver constructive feedback
  • Automate and scale production of creative by partnering with marketers to identify and help operationalize solutions

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in an advertising agency and/or in-house marketing team
  • Consumer brand and digital experience
  • Expertise in and knowledge of best-practices for mobile-first digital marketing
  • A developed instinct for balancing brand goals with performance goals
  • An understanding of A/B testing and validation
  • A passion for people, communication, marketing, and storytelling
  • A sensitivity and desire to understand multiple cultures and trends
  • Ability to write and communicate in other languages a plus, but not a requirement
  • Ability to work with a team in Seattle (regardless of where you are located) and collaborate with the team
