About the Role:
We are looking for a Contract Senior Technical Program Manager to report into one of our Principal Product Manager's on our Privacy team. At Remitly, we are on a mission to transform the lives of immigrants and their families by providing the most trusted financial products and services on the planet. We are reimagining international payments at scale and building new products to create deeper relationships with our customers and their loved ones across the globe. The Privacy team's vision is to help build Remitly's reputation as a brand synonymous with integrity and customer trust. We believe data privacy isn't just about ticking boxes, it's about making our customers feel safe and secure. This contract is slated to run until December 31st, 2025. This is a hybrid role and will require coming into our Seattle, WA headquarters 2-3 times a week.
You Will:
- Work closely with architects, engineering, product, design, legal and business leaders to ensure the successful completion of these programs.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Remitly, ensuring alignment on deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and project cadences.
- Create prioritization tradeoffs and plans with appropriate milestones for advance planning and executive buy-in.
- Manage dependencies and risks related to the program.
- Keep partners and leaders informed of progress or changes to scope and project schedule.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
- Define and report key results and performance metrics.
- Assess bottlenecks in work processes to streamline and simplify workflow.
- Conduct privacy assessments on product launches by partner teams.
You Have:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience. Experience in the privacy domain is a good to have but not a must have.
- 3+ years of working directly with multiple software engineering teams.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion.
- Experience managing global programs.
- MySQL experience and the ability to perform analytical inquiry is a plus
- Ability to understand code
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $144,000-$180,000 annually.
