About the Role:
Come be a founding member of Remitly's Global Risk Management team Program Manager! You will work across Remitly to support and perform supplier due diligence. You will report to our Global Expansion Manager inside the Security organization. You will manage the tools and processes that address risk for security, privacy, and data domains. #LI-Hybrid
You Will:
- Perform InfoSec risk evaluations our enterprise risk assessment tool, including issuing evaluation results and reports
- Research and consults with internal experts to understand and document security, privacy, and data risks identified through risk evaluations and due diligence processes
- Design, implement, and manage GRC frameworks, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop risk mitigation strategies for IT, cybersecurity, and operational processes.
- Assist internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies.
- Track and manage compliance gaps, remediation plans, and risk acceptance processes.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on compliance status, risk posture, and remediation efforts.
You Have:
- 5+ years as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or related role with demonstrated competence in managing parallel detailed workstreams with deadlines and reporting
- Proficiency in documentation, ticketing, and communications with high urgency
- Understanding of and passion for improving iterative processes at scale
- Comfort engaging stakeholders at multiple role levels and timezones
