About the Role:

As the Analytics Engineering Manager you will manage one of the fastest growing teams at Remitly, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. Your team delivers reliable datasets for important domains — remittances, product, customer success, and risk. We are looking for an experienced leader that can deliver customer impact through data while growing the careers of team members and shaping the data and engineering culture of Remitly as a whole.

You Will:

  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and quality of our datasets
  • Create and enforce best practices and SLAs
  • Define processes for prioritizing, defining and developing datasets across five core domains — remittances, risk, product and customer success
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners across various domains
  • Lead a team of analytical engineers

You Have:

  • 10+ years of working with in a data or analytics engineering role, with 3+ years of managing Analytics Engineering teams or equivalent roles
  • Experience applying dimensional modeling to produce business impact
  • Expert in SQL, proficient in one multi-purpose language (python, Java, etc)

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $180,000 -$220,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
