About the Role:
Global Network Experience (GNX), a squad in the Global Money Movement organization of Fintech Platform. This team is responsible for providing company-wide access to our Global Network Data & Money Routing, achieving optimal Global Network Performance, and supplying intuitive Network Management Tooling to support sustainable Network Operations & Network Expansion.
You Will:
- Collaborate across timezones with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality software solutions.
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces that enhance usability and deliver a seamless user experience for internal and external Remitly Customers.
- Implement solutions for ambiguous problems using multiple full stack technologies (TypeScript, React, Java, Go)
- Participate in code reviews, sprint rituals, hiring, and provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to maintain code quality and standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications
- Report to the Engineering Manager of the Global Network Operations team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the team's services.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on either frontend development for web/native applications or backend service development deployed via AWS.
- Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Go.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is $112,000 – $140,000. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
