About the Role:
As a Licensing Manager based in Manila, you will help ensure Remitly meets its licensing and regulatory requirements across the APAC region. You’ll support license maintenance, prepare and track regulatory filings, and coordinate responses for audits and regulatory reviews. You’ll also work with other teams to improve processes, support reporting needs, and help keep Remitly’s operations running smoothly in a regulated environment.

You’ll report to the Head of Global Regulatory Compliance and work closely with teams in Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
You Will:

Manage licensing and regulatory reporting activities for APAC, including tracking deadlines and submitting required filings

Support audits, examinations, and regulatory reviews by preparing documentation and coordinating responses across internal teams

Review regulatory changes and work with internal teams to assess new licensing or reporting requirements

Collaborate with data teams to define and validate reporting needs based on regulatory requirements

Maintain spreadsheets to track licensing, reporting, and project deliverables across regions

Use project tracking tools (such as Jira or Monday.com) to monitor compliance tasks and share updates

Work with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Finance teams to support Remitly’s global regulatory obligations
You Have:

5+ years of experience in compliance, licensing, regulatory reporting, or risk roles in financial services, payments, or fintech

Familiarity with APAC financial regulations and licensing processes

Experience supporting audits or regulatory exams, including preparing documents and managing timelines

Experience translating regulatory requirements into process changes or documentation

Comfort working with data teams to support compliance reporting and validation

Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including using formulas and maintaining large tracking spreadsheets

Experience using tools like Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms to track tasks and projects

Strong communication skills, including writing reports, documenting processes, and explaining compliance topics to non-experts
