About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Analytic Engineer II to lead mission-critical data solutions that support Remitly's Non Fraud Loss (NFL) program. You will develop backend solutions with front-end dashboard development, helping the business detect, attribute, and reduce financial losses across products and geographies.

This is a high-ownership, builder role. You will lead initiatives that unify data pipelines, automate tagging and reporting logic, and surface actionable insights through scalable dashboards. You will also extend analytics capabilities to new products, reducing operational lift and enabling real-time monitoring at scale. You'll report to the Manager of Data Analytics.

You Will:

  • Design and build reliable, scalable ETL pipelines to power analytics and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Mode with strong UX best practices.
  • Architect dimensional data models that ensure self-service analytics and scale across datasets.
  • Manage and evolve core reporting infrastructure, including semantic layers, tagging logic, and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance across BI assets through testing, documentation, and governance.
  • Partner with teams to develop new reporting logic as the NFL program evolves.
  • Support and train business users to improve data fluency and BI tool adoption.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience BI development, analytics engineering, or data product roles.
  • Strong SQL experience designing performant, reusable data models
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Mode Analytics, and dashboard performance optimization.
  • Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and reporting systems for high-volume, business-critical use cases.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $128,000 – $150,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
