About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Manager, Analytics Engineering, the Analytics Engineer will develop data marts and pipelines for several domains across the company. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United States based on manager approval.

You Will:

  • Collect requirements, define successful analytics outcomes and design data models.

  • Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Author technical design documentation.

  • Write performant complex queries and tune performance as needed.

  • Help maintain the data catalog.

  • Ability to create intuitive dashboards and reports that communicate insights effectively.

  • Mentor less experienced engineers. 

You Have:

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with analytics engineering.

  • 1 year of experience with dimensional data modeling and data pipeline design;

  • 1 year of experience with Cloud MPP database including Redshift;

  • 1 year of experience working with cross-functional teams, engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements;

  • 1 year of experience with streamlining ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency across data warehouses; and

  • 1 year of experience with AWS, CI/CD, DataOps best practices, dbt, Git, Python, SQL, Tableau and Mode for analysis visualization and reporting, Stitch, and Docker for containerizing environments. 

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $128,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
