About the Role:
You will be a Senior Software Engineer on the Lending Servicing team reporting to an Engineer Manager, building systems and experiences that support Remitly's growing suite of lending products. Lending is a new product area which is now scaling fast. The Servicing team builds and owns the experiences customers use to manage their lending products throughout their lifecycle.
You will develop end-to-end solutions that help customers manage and stay on top of their lending products. You will work with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver thoughtful, high-quality experiences that have an impact on customers' financial lives.
You will operate with a high degree of ownership, contributing to technical decisions, shaping implementation approaches, and helping evolve the systems and interfaces that support Remitly's lending offerings as they scale.
You Will:
- Develop end-to-end features across frontend experiences and backend services that support lending products
- Partner with product managers and designers to translate customer needs into well-crafted technical solutions
- Contribute to the evolution of APIs, service integrations, and frontend patterns that allow product development at scale
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture
You Have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience building features used by customers
- 5 years of frontend feature development in partnership with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers
- Proficiency in any of the following languages and frameworks: NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, ReactNative, and Expo
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically zł320,000 – zł360,000. In Poland, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan. Your recruiter can share more information about medical benefits offered, as well as other financial benefits and total compensation components offered with this role.
Remitly Poland applies increased tax deductible costs (KUP) to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an “author”) for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
