About the Role:
As a Senior Manager of Growth Marketing, you will lead the strategy and daily management of performance marketing channels across the United States and Canada. You will lead a team of media buyers and own a multi-million dollar paid media budget, with direct accountability for delivering new customer acquisition targets within defined efficiency guardrails. This role requires a hands-on leader who combines deep media buying expertise with operational rigor and a sophisticated understanding of modern measurement frameworks to build high-impact, multi-language campaigns.
This role will report to our Director of Growth Marketing and is a hybrid position, requiring 3+ days a week working from our Seattle, WA HQ office located in downtown Seattle.
You Will:
- Lead Performance Strategy: Define and execute the strategy, planning, and management of performance marketing channels across North America.
- Own Budget Management: Accountable for end-to-end budget management, pacing, forecasting, and reallocation across a multi-million dollar budget.
- Drive Acquisition: Lead the team to achieve new customer acquisition targets as the primary success metric, balancing scale with efficiency.
- Develop Talent: Lead and mentor a team of digital media buyers, establishing clear goals, operating rhythms, and accountability.
- Optimize Measurement: Apply advanced understanding of attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling to inform strategic decisions.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Creative to develop testing frameworks and learning agendas; partner with Analytics to interpret complex performance signals into actionable insights.
- Communicate Impact: Provide clear weekly performance updates in metric reviews, highlighting results, drivers, and risks to leadership.
You Have:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally within tech, fintech, or e-commerce.
- Management: 3+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing media buying teams.
- Budget Ownership: Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-million dollar budgets across major digital performance channels.
- Analytical Rigor: Deep expertise in performance marketing measurement, including attribution, incrementality, and media mix modeling.
- Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to lead key initiatives and handle unforeseen issues with limited management oversight.
- Influence: Strong ability to change thinking or gain acceptance in sensitive situations without damaging relationships.
- Communication: Proficiency in translating data into concise narratives for senior and executive-level stakeholders.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $152,000-$190,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
