Arlington, VA, United States of America

Job Description:

At Remitly, we believe everyone deserves the freedom to access, move, and manage their money wherever life takes them. Since 2011, we’ve tirelessly delivered on our promise to customers sending money globally, providing secure, simple, and reliable ways to manage their money, ensuring true peace of mind. Whether it’s supporting loved ones back home, growing a business across continents, or pursuing new opportunities abroad, we’re not just here to move money— we’re here to move our global customers forward.

We’re looking for builders, reimaginers, and global thinkers who want to work at the intersection of technology, trust, and transformation. If that’s you and you’re ready to do the most meaningful work of your career—we invite you to join over 2,800 passionate Remitlians worldwide who are united by our vision to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders.

About the Role:

Remitly Global Card is expanding into new regions, and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for each new market. In this role, you will define target customer segments across regions, uncover their pain points, and translate those insights into product features and experiences that address them. You'll own the end-to-end onboarding experience — including solving for region-specific KYC requirements — and continuously optimize the funnel to reduce friction and drive activation. This is an opportunity to shape how Global Card enters new markets, with direct ownership over segmentation, product experience, and go-to-market execution. You will work in a hybrid capacity from our Arlington, VA office.

You Will:

  • Define target customer segments for Global Card across regions, using qualitative research, data analysis, and market insight to identify their distinct pain points.
  • Translate customer insights into product features and experiences, partnering with engineering and design to build and iterate.
  • Establish and execute the go-to-market strategy for each new region, aligning product, marketing, and operations around a coordinated launch plan.
  • Solve for region-specific KYC requirements, partnering with Compliance and Risk to design onboarding flows that meet local regulatory standards.
  • Own and optimize the onboarding funnel, identifying friction points and driving improvements that increase activation across markets.
  • Define and articulate the key value propositions that address each customer segment's pain points, region by region.
  • Define success metrics and instrumentation, partnering with analytics to track segment performance and go-to-market results.
  • Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and results clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.

You Have:

  • A track record of building impactful consumer products in new or expanding markets, including go-to-market strategy and execution.
  • Experience defining and validating customer segments across regions, using qualitative and quantitative research to uncover pain points and translate them into product strategy.
  • Direct experience with KYC, compliance, or regulatory requirements in a consumer fintech or payments context, ideally across multiple regions.
  • Expertise optimizing onboarding funnels, with a strong point of view on what drives activation and reduces friction.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfortable defining metrics and using experimentation to guide decisions.
  • End-to-end product ownership skills, from customer discovery through go-to-market execution, with demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy on ambiguous, cross-functional problems.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, specifically in consumer fintech, payments, or card products, with experience launching in new markets.
