About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Talent Acquisition for Remitly’s Managua site. As the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators, reporting directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

You will be responsible for end-to-end hiring across the Managua site, with a primary focus on delivering high-volume, wave-based hiring for our Customer Success organization while also overseeing recruitment for corporate and professional roles. As a key talent leader supporting one of Remitly’s strategic growth locations, you will play a critical role in scaling the workforce, driving hiring excellence, and building strong partnerships across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, excels at balancing operational execution with strategic workforce planning, and is committed to fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.

You Will

  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators, setting clear goals, running effective team rituals, and creating an environment of collaboration and high performance.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Customer Success—partnering with site operations leadership to forecast demand, build pipelines, and deliver against wave-based hiring targets with speed and quality.
  • Drive corporate recruiting for the Managua site, partnering strategically with hiring managers across functions to understand needs, set expectations, and deliver strong pipelines.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders—translating hiring needs into execution plans, communicating proactively on pipeline health, and navigating tradeoffs with data and good judgment.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, quality of hire) and use insights to continuously improve team performance and candidate experience.
  • Train hiring managers on interviewing best practices and champion a strong recruiting culture across the site.
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to the broader People Team by leveraging recruiting data, labor market intelligence, and candidate insights to influence workforce planning, compensation and benefits strategies, talent mobility, employer branding, and long-term talent acquisition planning across the site.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition function by leveraging data, automation, and stakeholder feedback to optimize recruiting processes, improve operational efficiency, enhance candidate and hiring manager experiences, and increase the overall effectiveness of hiring outcomes.

You Have

  • 5+ years of recruiting or related talent experience, preferably with exposure to both high-volume and corporate hiring.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or formally managing a recruiting team, with a track record of developing others.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills—able to build trust with business partners, communicate clearly under pressure, and align expectations across levels.
  • Proficiency with ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter); comfort using data to drive decisions.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

Blue Quote

On the product team at Remitly, I’m trusted to make decisions that drive real impact—not just for my team, but for the business and our customers. I’m encouraged to take ownership of problems even when they’re outside my immediate scope, to speak up, and to bring the right people together to solve them. Lately, that’s meant working on real-time FX and funding tools that support our treasury team in lowering transaction costs—so we can pass those savings on to our customers. That trust and cross-team collaboration make it easy to stay focused on what really matters in the long run.”
